Are you a Registered and Licensed company?
We are a licensed Home Improvement Contractors, with the Federal Republic of Nigeria and we are dully registered under the CAC (Cooperate Affairs Commission). We are certified to carry out all services dully listed above.
How many coats of paint do I really need on my home?
A couple of factors affect this decision. On the exterior we use a very thick primer and top coat of the highest quality paint. If you are staying in the same color or just a shade off then one coat of each will cover just fine. If the color is going to change dramatically then we use 2 coats of exterior paint. Stain jobs are two coats unless you insist on just one and the floor isn’t very dry. We occasionally will do two coats on the sunny side of the house and one elsewhere but normally we encourage you to use two coats. When we paint over aluminum and other surfaces, we always paint two light coats.
Can you do or design something in my style?
Yes! Our Design team believe design is subjective and our goal is to bring to fruition the spaces you’ve been dreaming up with elements you love from design and bringing our elevated eye to the overall project. Every client is different, which is why your exact dream style may not be on our website, but we’ll be thrilled to achieve it for you! Remember, sometimes your budget guides how close we can get to the desired look.
What should I look for when hiring a painting contractor?
There are several key things to look for when choosing a painting contractor. At the very least, check to see if they are licensed, experienced and capable of completing the project. Look for reputable companies with local references.
What if I want to change something about the project?
Please let our office know about these changes in time or feel free to contact your estimator directly. Most of the time it is more cost-effective for us to make a change or do additional works during the course of a project than to have us come back after the project is complete.
How long will my exterior painting job last?
Generally an exterior painting job will need to be redone every 5-10 years. Stucco tends to last longer, wood and other surfaces on the other hand, expands and contracts more with changing temperatures which loosens the paint sooner. It is best not to put off your exterior painting until the house is badly peeling. When it gets to that condition, it will end up costing you more in preparation time and possibly dry rot repair work. If however the property is in a bad condition when you get to it, do yourself a favor – go the extra length and ensure that thorough surface preparation is done. The idea is to create a sound surface for the new coats to adhere to. This requires more time but is necessary for the paint job to last.
When do I pay you?
A payment schedule is outlined in our contract. We will invoice you accordingly and we expect to be paid in due time.
